Camp was a success! When we got there to pick them up they were all three patiently waiting in their room for us. They were happy to see us and tell us all about their week! They are big on letting the kids make their own choices while on their own at camp for a week. Some of the choices they were eager to tell me Jayke made were eating only potatoes all week, trying to lock Zach in the closet using bandaids, and sleeping in the closet on top of his suitcase. They played lots and lots of basketball. Got to play miniature golf and be total goof balls in their dorm room at night with no parents around to tell them what to do. Got to go to a buffet 3 times a day and eat whatever they chose without parents to tell them what to eat. Well, no parents, just Seth.
They can't wait to go back next year!!
After we got them loaded up we went down to the gym for an exhibition by the kids and by some performers who were there to entertain the kids.

After the exhibition we raced over to Ivanhoe's to try to beat the camp crowd. Jeff nor the boys had ever been there before. Jayke, on the other hand, is a regular with Oma. She takes him up there all the time! I don't recall EVER being taken there as a kid, in fact, I didn't even know what it was until I was an adult but she takes Jayke several times a year!
It was a long long wait but the food and ice cream were worth it! On the drive home we drove over the covered bridge so the boys could see it, I'm sure Jayke is a regular there too...smh.
