The kiddos got certificates from their coach and trophies from the league. I haven't seen The Boy so excited in quite a while as he was over that little plastic trophy. He had to show it to everyone! He carried it all over the sports complex even up to the ball diamonds when we walked up there before leaving. We have already discussed getting him a shelf for his trophies to hang on his wall. I think he will get one for t-ball too.

Here is his team with their coaches, Jason and Amanda. They were so proud of their trophies and we were all proud of them! They all improved over the season and we are looking forward to the summer season. Jayke wants to play on Jason's team again and they told me they are coaching again so we are going to try to get on that team. I thought it was cute that Jason's wife told me that he said he wants to coach but not without HIS team.

Oma and Aunt Dona got to see Jayke score his three huge goals tonight. I couldn't believe my mom sat out there in the rain and wind to watch. Jayke got a little embarrassed when she put up her umbrella and made her put it back down. She sat there with 3 jackets wrapped around her. Wimp. I had on a light weight jacket and flip flops. We did luck out and it started to really rain right as we were leaving. Good thing, my mom may have melted or something right in front of us!

GOOD JOB JAYKE!!!!! we had soccer last night also and all weekend!
can't wait to see pictures of jayke's new room
Yup! Trophies can make a little kid's day no doubt. You should see how excited they get just looking at them in our showroom.
Some of the parents say their kids like coming here more than a toy store. It must be the trophies combined with the candy dish full of candy we have on the table out there ;-)
MQ--Good thing the weather is almost always good there!
Tresa--It may be a while before the room is finished. We haven't worked on it in a few days now.
Suz--I know you know all about the trophies! You probably dream about them!
Way to go Jayke!
Sounds like he had some awesome coaches.
